About Bautista
Bautista Coronel is a contemporary painter whose work explores the relationship between nature, memory, and human presence. Through naturalistic scenes and symbolic compositions, his paintings reflect the raw hierarchies of the natural world while inviting subtle parallels with human society.
His series Entre Huellas y Ausencias reflects on preservation and the fragile balance between wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. In contrast, the ongoing universe Elyrium seeks a quieter dimension—spaces of stillness and contemplation where monumental forms and silent environments evoke harmony, reflection, and the passage of time.
